CBS 8’s Protect and Serve Award April 2008

CBS 8 and our Protect and Serve partners proudly salute Officer Ronald Bright of the Linden Police Department as this month's protect and serve award winner. During a traffic stop, Officer Bright found a small bag of cocaine which prompted him to search the suspects vehicle. The search yielded a pistol, two bullets and a murder-suicide note written by the suspect. Officer Bright saved one life and maybe two. CBS "8", Goldberg and Associates, Ford Dealers and Sonic proudly salute the honorable men and women who protect and serve.
